Plot:-
Anu is a leather wearing, no-nonsense professional guardian with a reputation for killing the most dangerous vampires in New York City. But when her enemies murder the one person she truly cared about, all she wants is vengeance. The only clue points to New Delhi, so Anu puts in for a job transfer.
In India, she finds more than she expected. For one thing, her fellow operatives have made a truce with the vampires.
For another, its way too hot to wear leather.
At first, it seems Anu's biggest challenge will be evading the nice boys her aunt wants her to marry. But when children start disappearing, she discovers forces older and darker than anything shes faced before. All of Delhi is in danger, especially the sexy stranger who sets Anu's pulse racing.
To prepare for the coming battle, Anu must overcome her personal demons and put aside years of training. This time, her most powerful weapon will come from her mind, not her weapons belt.

About the Author:-
Adi grew up reading fiction books by flashlight, hiding under the covers, pretending to be asleep. While it must have affected his academic life the next day, he still went on to get degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University, which he uses in his life now as an entrepreneur and researcher.
Adi has also published a poetry book and a minor textbook. He wishes he could withdraw all copies of said poetry book from the market. At the time, it seemed poignant, but now it's just embarrassing. The textbook still seems all right.
He splits his time between India, Dubai and Zurich. Deeply impressed by the vast religious history of India, he could not help but pick this topic for his first novel.

My Views:-
When I read the plot of this book I was really excited because I love to read Vampire stories, and more over the plot seemed really thrilling. And I am extremely honest when I say I wasn't let down. Starting from the first page, till the last one the book had me hooked to it. It is a simply marvelous story.

The book is filled with not only vampires but also the mystery of them all in India. Anu had been taught only one lesson all her life, that is to kill vampires. But when she comes to India, she is horrified to see that the operatives here not only live in peace with the Vampires but also work along with them when needed. She hates this thought but alas, has to accept it.

One thing which made me really happy was the apt title. The book couldn't have got any other name, it suits the story so much. While reading this book, I felt as if the whole story took place before my own eyes. That is the essence of this whole book. The writing is really beautiful and with such a great grammar that I didn't want to keep the book down. Moreover, little spices of Humor, Friendship and Romance are added which makes it even more good.

I must say Adi has done a really spectacular job on this book. I would recommend anyone to take it up and read it, because I myself wouldn't mind to read it again and again. Without second thoughts I give this book a 4.5 out of 5. Of all the vampire books written out there, I like this one the best. And I am surely waiting for a second part of this book.

Anu has not only taken a place in India as one of the best operatives, but also a place in our hearts as one of the best heroine of modern times. It has been long since a heroine has come out and Adi has done a really great job in creating the perfect heroine to save the world.
